Bryn Cricket Club merged with Aberavon Cricket Club to form the majority of the side that plays today in the Vaughan Sound Central League, in the Swansea area of South Wales. In 2004 we won, what was then called, Division 2b, and regained our place in Division 1. The 2005 season saw us consolidate our position in Division 1 where we continue to play our league cricket.
Bryn did not lose a game during the 2007 Central League campaign, but missed out on winning the title by seven points as the summer's weather forced many games to be cancelled.
Our midweek fixtures see us play on Thursday evenings in the Port Talbot Cricket League, playing such sides as Corus, Margam and Port Talbot Gas.
Bryn went down to their first defeat of the season at the hands of Penlan RFC, who transferred their heroics in the cup to the league.
